Employment, economic and population statistics reports are compiled from various sources of open data. Interactive Power-BI reports are automatically updated so that the statistics are always up to date.

Employment
The report shows the latest information on the change in the unemployment rate in Turku, statistics on youth unemployment and long-term unemployment, and a comparison of the unemployment rate in the different municipalities of Southwest Finland.
Population
The report provides recent statistics on the population, gender distribution and the structure of the Turku age pyramid.
Population projection
The population projection predicts the development of the population of the City of Turku until 2040. The projection is updated annually. The population forecast was last updated on 3 October 2024.
