The easiest way to reach the birdwatching tower is along the nature trail starting from the Puistotie road in Ruissalo.

You can find the accessible birdwatching platform along the riverbank promenade leading to Kansanpuisto Park in Ruissalo. There are parking spaces in the yard and in the vicinity of the adjacent Ruissalo shipyard.

The birdwatching tower is located in the Rauvolanlahti Nature Reserve. This area and the adjacent nature reserves of Katariinanlaakso and Vaarniemi are popular birdwatching sites connected by a marked walking trail.
