Find the books or other material you want to borrow from the library. You can also check the availability of the material in the Vaski web library. You can also find the library's materials in the Vaski web library.

Borrow the material with your library card either at the library’s customer service desk or at the self-checkout machine. When using the self-checkout machine, you will need the PIN number of your library card.

Return your loan to the machine for automatic returns or customer service desk by the due date, during library opening hours.
Some libraries also have a drop box, where you can return your loans when the library is closed. At Turku Main Library, the drop box is located on the ramp next to the entrance to the new library building. Loans returned through the drop box will only be registered as returned on the library’s next opening day.

You can renew your loans by logging in to the web library. You can also renew loans at the libraries’ customer service desks. However, you cannot renew a loan if another customer has reserved the material.

Interlibrary loan service for customers
You can order material that is not found in the Vaski libraries' collections as an interlibrary loan. The interlibrary loan service will determine the availability and price of the material.
