The Raunistula bridge for pedestrians and bikes over the Aura River was completed in summer 2025. The area's pedestrian and bike routes are still being improved -
The Turku Harbour and Castle area is renewed during 2026–2028. A new network of streets, pedestrian pathways, and bike routes are built. -
Itäinen Rantakatu got 2,5 km of new bike lanes through the renovation project. -
In the new Pihlajaniemi neighbourhood, 3 km of streets are being built.
