Brand and visual style

The City of Turku’s brand and visual identity are defined on the Turku Design System website (TDS). TDS provides, for example, the City’s colour palette, typography, graphic style, and guidelines for using the City of Turku logo. TDS ensures that Turku’s brand remains consistent across all communication channels.

Images and logos

From the City of Turku’s media bank, you can download images for marketing and communication of the City of Turku and the Turku region, as well as for non-commercial use. Media representatives have the right to use the materials in articles about the City of Turku or the Turku region in all types of media. The media bank also includes the City of Turku logos, the Turku 800 anniversary emblem, and other graphic elements.

Videos

You can find numerous Turku-themed videos on, for example, the City of Turku’s and Visit Turku’s YouTube channels, as well as in the Turku media library. The videos may be used for marketing and communication of the City of Turku and the Turku region, and for non-commercial purposes.

Photography and filming are allowed in public areas such as streets, parks, and public transport.  

If you want to take photographs or film at schools, educational institutions, early childhood education and care centres, or youth facilities, please contact a representative of the relevant unit directly. You always need the guardian’s permission to photograph or film a child or young person under the age of 18.
