Equipment available at the library

The following items can be reserved in the main library

• 3D printer
• Thermal spray
• vinyl cutter
• Mobile phone charging cabinets (points)
• Sewing machine
• seamer
• a microfilm device to read old newspapers
• A digitizer of the digitization LPs, cassettes, VHS tapes, slides and photographs
• Music Room 1 (Piano Room)
• Music Room 2 (Musakuutio)

The microfilm machine is next the information department of the Main Library and the digitization machine is in the Music Department. Other equipment can be found in the Main Library's  Paja. The music room is located in the Music Department of the Main Library, on the second floor of the old library building. There is an electric and an acoustic piano available. You can also play your own acoustic instruments or practice with an instrument loaned from the library.

Music Cube is located in the music section of the main library, on the second floor of the old library building. The room is equipped for band playing, but you can also use it alone. In the music room, you can play the most common band instruments and practise recording them at demo level with Cubase 12 Artist software. You can also play your own instruments and record them via an audio cable connection.

At the Main Library Newsroom, the electronic magnifier is available for use. The news square staff guides users in using equipment. You do not need to reserve an electronic magnifier.
 

The main library has charging cabinets for charging phone.
 

At Pansio Library, the sewing machine is available for use during library opening hours. Reservations for the machines can be made with the staff at the Pansio Library, with each machine available for up to one day at a time.
