Newcomer’s Guide

This guidebook provides answers to many questions related to moving to Turku, living in Turku, and working in Turku.

The 'Moving' section includes topics on the Finnish Immigration Service, the Digital and Population Data Services Agency, Kela, banking, and taxation. The 'Living' section covers housing, educational services, language studies, healthcare, leisure activities, multicultural organizations, and transportation. The 'Working' section discusses working life, workers' rights, regulated professions, and entrepreneurship.
