Using the book bag service
-
1Contact us
To become a customer of the book bag service, send an email to omakirjasto@turku.fi or call +358 40 183 3984.
A library employee will interview you by phone before registering you as a customer. They will ask you about your personal details, your reasons for using the service, and what kind of books, magazines, music, games or films you would like in your book bag.
They will also schedule your first delivery and explain how the service works.
-
2Concluding of the contract
You will get a contract form with your first bag. Fill it in and sign it. Place the form in the book bag and return it with your next delivery.
-
3Getting and returning book bags
The carrier will deliver your book bag to your home at the agreed time. We will inform you of the exact times in advance.
You will get a new book bag once a month or every two months, as agreed. When you get a new book bag, give the old book bag to the carrier’s employee.
There are no late fees for the materials in the book bag. The service is free for the customer.
-
4Choosing what goes in the bag
You can reserve books or other materials through the Vaski web library.
If you cannot do this yourself, you can write down your wishes. The book bag always includes a form. You can write your wishes for future books or other materials on the form.
You can also make your request by email or call us during on-call hours.
