E-services
Primarily contact the work force authority through the Job Market's E-services.
Through the Job Market's E-services you can:
- send a contact request
- register as a jobseeker, which enables you to apply for unemployment benefits,
- follow your job seeking process,
- agree on an employment plan and report on its fulfillment,
- report changes to your job seeking,
- find work force training opportunities,
- apply for a start-up grant.
If you are unable to use the Job Market's e-service, you can also send a message via the Suomi.fi service or the Secure Email (Turvaposti) application. Do not use regular, unencrypted email.
Suomi.fi messages
By logging in to the Suomi.fi website or using the Suomi.fi mobile application, you can send messages and attachments to the Turku Employment Region securely. Select City of Turku as the recipient and choose the recipient service “02. Turku Employment Region, secure message and attachments.” Your message will be forwarded to the appropriate authority.
Secure email (Turvaposti)
If you cannot use the Job Market Finland e-service or the Suomi.fi service, you can also send secure email. Secure email is a protected channel for handling your personal matters.
The service requires activation using your own email address (see the instructions page).

Registry Office
The email address of the registry office of the Turku Employment Region is: kirjaamo.tyollisyysalue@turku.fi
Do not send messages containing information related to your personal case or personal data to the general email addresses of the Employment Region. In such cases, always use secure and encrypted communication channels.
Phone Service
Telephone services of the Turku Employment Region serve all municipalities within the Employment Region. The telephone service hours are as follows:
- Mon, Wed–Friday: 9:00–15:30
- Tues: 9:00–13:30

When calling from a mobile phone, the cost of the call is the standard mobile network charge. The charge also applies while waiting in the queue. When calling from a landline, the cost is the local network charge.
Calls are recorded in order to document requirements, explanations, or information presented during the call due to the official duty of municipalities, and, when necessary, for handling feedback, formal requests for clarification, and safety-related incidents.

Feedback
Through the feedback service, you can submit compliments, complaints, and development suggestions regarding the Employment Services. The feedback is not made public. The feedback channel cannot be used for official matters (such as cancelling scheduled appointments) or for handling your own ongoing cases. Do not include contact details or sensitive information in your feedback.
