Fees
The fees for morning and afternoon clubs increased on 1 January 2025 in the City of Turku. The Education Committee decided on the matter at its meeting on 5 November 2024.
If the child starts morning and afternoon activities mid-way through the month, the full monthly fee will be charged. The monthly fee for August is half the price of a normal month.
- 40€ / month and from 1 January 2025, 50€ / month
- August is 50% off.
- 92€ / month and from 1 January 2025, 110€ / month
- August is 50% off.
- 110€ / month and from 1 January 2025, 130€ / month
- August is 50% off.
Discount or exemption from the fee
You can apply for a discount or exemption from the fee for morning and afternoon activities. Fill in the form and deliver the application and attached income details to:

Applications are processed in the order of arrival.
A decision to reduce the customer fee by 25% or exemption from the fee become valid at the beginning of the month when we have received the application and its appendices.
Discounts on the fee shall not be granted retroactively.

Family size
- Spouses or persons living in marriage-like circumstances in a shared household.
- Minors living in the same household.
- If necessary, we check the data from the population register.
When considering a discount or exemption, the following revenues shall be taken into account:
- Taxable earnings and capital income.
- Tax-exempt income.
The following benefits and compensations do not count towards your income
- Child benefit
- Disability benefits
- Child increase for pensioners
- Housing allowance
- Medical and examination expenses from accident insurance
- Conscript's allowance
- Front-veteran's supplement
- Study grant, student housing allowance, and adult education allowance
- Compensation as part of social assistance and travel expenses
- Maintenance costs for rehabilitation allowance
- Expense allowances for employment services
- Scholarships and similar grants
- Compensation for family care costs
- Child home care allowance.
What is deducted from income
- Paid child support
- Similar costs arising from direct family relationships
- A cash benefit withheld for a fixed term or a lifetime in connection with the transfer of a property.
