If you are newly unemployed or at risk of (immediate) unemployment, you must register as a jobseeker. If you have not registered as a jobseeker, you cannot receive unemployment benefits.

When you register as an unemployed person, a labour policy statement is created for you, or you are asked to provide additional information. When you receive the statement, you can apply for unemployment benefits from Kela or from your unemployment fund.
Unemployment benefits are a form of financial support paid to unemployed jobseekers to ensure their livelihood. The purpose of the benefit is to help unemployed individuals manage financially while they search for a new job or participate in services that promote employment.

- Job offers: You will be notified of vacancies that match your profile.
- Training: You can participate in different types of training to enhance your employment opportunities.
- Work try-outs: You have the opportunity to participate in work try-outs, where you can familiarise yourself with different tasks.
In the initial interview, we will also discuss and agree on further steps related to your job search.
