Swimming area rules
You can keep your dog off-leash at fenced dog swimming places. Take other people and dogs into account at the swimming spot and follow the rules:
- You are responsible for your dog.
- Keep your dog off-leash in the fenced area.
- Do not bring an unvaccinated, sick, or angry dog or a dog in heat into the fenced area.
- Don't bring toys.
- Don't throw sticks, snowballs, or rocks.
- Collect your dog's poops and keep the area otherwise clean.
- Remember to keep the gate closed at all times.
- Please make sure that your dog does not disturb peace at night by barking (22:00-7:00).
Uittamo swimming spot for dogs
The Uittamo swimming spot is located south of the Uittamo residential area, right next to the marina and the Uittamo Pavilion.
How to get there
You can easily get to the swimming spot by Föli bus number 9.
There is also a parking area on Pulttikatu near the swimming spot where you can park your car.
