Asukasbudjetti (Resident Budgeting) is the City of Turku’s way of implementing participatory budgeting. Participatory budgeting means combining the economy and democracy.
Turku residents have a chance to propose, develop and vote on how to spend three million euros.
Proposals are collected every two years. The next call for proposals will start in autumn 2025.
