What is temporary early childhood education and care?
Temporary day care is for children who do not need regular early childhood education. You can use temporary day care a maximum of 5 days per month, when the need is occasional and does not repeat every month.
The price for temporary care is 20 euros for a day per child. This service is available in all municipal day cares, if they have free places. Temporary day care is short term, and it cannot be reserved for several months in advance.
You can ask for more information directly from the day care manager. Temporary day care does not affect child home care allowance.

In temporary early childhood education and care, no personal early childhood education and care plan is made for the child.
