Guided morning and afternoon activities

Students in grades 1–2 and students in basic education who have a decision on special support can participate in the morning and afternoon activities.

In addition to the city, morning and afternoon activities are organised by clubs, parishes and organisations in Turku. Children are insured during the activities. Afternoon activities are organised between 11 and 17. In afternoon activities, students play, do arts and crafts, play games, and exercise under guidance. They also get a snack.

Morning activities can be organised between 7.30 and 10.00 if at least 10 children participate in the activities. Morning activities may be terminated during the school year if the number of children permanently decreases to less than 10. Afternoon activities are organised between 11 and 17. Morning activities do not include breakfast.

What aged children can come to morning and afternoon activities?
