What is a dig permit and what is it needed for?
You need a permit from the city for digging, landfilling and paving work in streets, parks and other public areas. A plan on traffic arrangements is required as an appendix to the application.
In addition, the contractor is obliged to inform the Turku traffic management centre about any traffic hazards caused by the work.
