What is art guidance?
In art guidance, you get to work on your creative visual arts project under the guidance of professional artists. Guidance takes place in small groups, which allows you to get individual support and get to know other young people with the same interests. At the end of the academic year, we compile a joint artwork or set of works from your art projects.
In art guidance, you get to develop your artistic self-expression and gain new cultural experiences. Depending on the group’s wishes, we can visit different cultural sites, such as museums, art exhibitions and theatre.
The activity is free of charge and part of the Turku Model for leisure activities.
Who can take part in art guidance?
All pupils in lower secondary schools in Turku can apply for art education.
