Service description
The EURES service (European Employment Services) supports you when you want to recruit an employee from an EU or EEA country. EURES advisers within employment services provide guidance and assistance in planning and implementing the recruitment, selecting the target country, and initiating the recruitment process together with the EURES service in the target country. EURES advisers can respond to job advertisement inquiries on your behalf, receive applications, and carry out pre-selection with you. They also conduct employer visits.
The EURES service organizes recruitment fairs on-site in EU and EEA countries and online under the name European Online Job Day (EOJD). You can agree with a EURES adviser to participate yourself, or the adviser can present your job vacancy on your behalf. In addition, EURES advisers can arrange interviews or information sessions abroad and guide foreign workers on relocation and working life in Finland.
You can also receive information from a EURES adviser about support services, coaching, and training, as well as how to use the EURES portal. The job advertisement you publish on JobMarket Finland is also transferred to the EURES portal, where you can browse jobseeker profiles. Job postings where the working language is English are also published on workinfinland.com in addition to the EURES portal.
Who is the service intended for?
You can use the EURES service if you have not found a suitable employee in Finland or if you otherwise need support services for recruiting an employee from Europe.
