Residential parking permits

There are residential parking permits available for purchase that gives you the right to park in certain street parking spaces.

To get Residential Parking Permit you must live in the area. The applicant must have a driver’s license and a vehicle. A person with a permit can park the vehicle defined in the permit to the parking space marked by traffic signs.

Residential parking permits can be given to people who

• lives in an address in the area
• has a driver’s licence
• that has a car, a van a motorbike, a speciality car or a quadricycle, light quadricycle (microcar) in their personal use.

The permit entitles you to unlimited parking on the sections of the street indicated by additional signs on the traffic sign. A residential parking permit does not allow you to park in all parking spaces on the area.

The validity of the residential parking permit is checked by your registration number. You do not need to display the permit in the vehicle.

Attention! The user is responsible for making sure that the registration number is correct and up to date in the system, for example when changing vehicles.

If you want a permit with an end date, come to Monitori service desk at market Square.

• You can claim a valid permit at the Aimo application. A permit that is at once valid for a set amount of months can be bought from Monitori at market Square.
• You can buy a permit for maximum one year
• The permit is valid from a date you choose.
• You will pay full price for an incomplete month.
• Each vehicle needs a separate permit. To get more than one permit you need to g oto Monitori for now.
