Gravel fields

Turku has an extensive network of sand and gravel fields.

There are different sized fields:

• The smallest fields are local fields (max. 40m x 60m).
• Larger fields are divided into small-game fields (min. 40m x 60m) and large sand fields (min. 45m x 95m).
• There are 51 local fields, 22 small-game fields and 5 large sand fields.

Some of the fields are frozen during winter.

• The fields are free to use if they are not booked.
• There are time slots booked for public use and regular time slots. Are time slots can be found on the Timmi booking calendar.
• Quiet hours from 10PM to 7AM.
