What are playschool activities?
Playschools are part of free open early childhood education activities. Indoor and outdoor play schools are organised in different parts of Turku.
In playschools your about 2,5–5-year-old child can take part in organised and purposeful activities planned and organised by the early childhood teacher. If needed, there may be other staff also participating.
Having a place in a playschool does not affect the day care allowances of Kela.
At what age to join a playschool activity?
Your child can participate in playschool activities from the age of about 2,5 to 5.
