Turku Music Centre Fuuga will be built on the eastern bank of the Aura River, next to Turku City Theatre. Construction began in autumn 2023, and the building is set for completion in 2026.

Built using an alliance model

The Music Centre will be constructed using an alliance model based on shared responsibility. In the alliance, the City of Turku partners with Hartela, PES-Architects and WSP Finland, with Laidun design as a subcontractor. The parties to the alliance are jointly responsible for implementing the project objectives.

A site camera at the Music Centre Fuuga site follows the progress of construction. The roof of the adjacent government office building provides an extensive view of the entire riverbank and over the construction site. The photo is updated with an hour’s delay.
