Pavilion restaurants and shops

The Market Square has three modern pavilion buildings, with a total of six restaurant and retail spaces. The pavilions enrich the all-year-round services of the Market Square. Each pavilion also provides access underground to the Market Square car park (Toriparkki).

The pavilions are home to popular restaurants: Agnes, Torio and Torigrilli, as well as the traditional market café Otava. The small shops in the pavilion on the Eerikinkatu side of the Market Square are home to regularly changing pop-ups.

Restrooms

The restrooms at the Market Square are located in the pavilion buildings. To ensure safety and cleanliness, they operate with a code, which can be obtained from the market vendors or supervisors.

The square also has an accessible restroom, which is easily accessible to all, including walker and wheelchair users. The restroom has sufficient space for mobility and the necessary fixtures and equipment.

Be sure to stop by the fountain as well!

The fountain, completed in 2023, enlivens the Market Square in front of the Orthodox church.

The water element is formed by place names and the outline of the archipelago. Water jets rise from major towns and villages, such as Turku, Kustavi, and Korpo, much to the delight of children. At night, when illuminated, the water element is especially impressive.
