Who can get a Senior Wristband?
The senior wristband is intended for Turku residents aged 65 and over.

Price of the wristband:
42€ / 4 months
Plus an 8€ wristband fee for the first purchase.

Currently, the senior wristband cannot be loaded online.
ID will be checked at the time of purchase. The wristband is personal and can be used once per day. Upon purchase, you will receive a green validation card, which you should always carry along with the wristband.
Benefits and services for senior wristband holders
The wristband offers versatile services. It also includes variable seasonal benefits and invites to events. Information about activities and benefits is communicated via text messages.
Cooperation with private fitness centers continues again this autumn!
Private gyms will be available for senior wristband holders from September 15 to December 19. Come and try out the gym sessions and group exercise classes at private fitness centers. An instructor will be present to guide you during the workouts. No registration is required for the sessions.

- Elixia Länsikeskus (Viilarinkatu 4): gym session 10:30AM–12:30PM and Senior Cardio + Strength class 11AM–12PM
- Elixia Skanssi (Skanssinkatu 10): gym session 9:30AM–11:30AM and Power Pilates 10AM–11AM
- Elixia Trivium (Lemminkäisenkatu 32): gym session 12PM–1PM (16.9.-18.11.), plus group exercise on Tuesday evenings (ask the gym for details)
- Mentor Hirvensalo (Meritalontie 2): Pilates 10:45AM–11:45AM

With KuntoVoiTas group exercise classes, you can improve your fitness in good company throughout the summer!
The classes include strength, balance, and mobility exercises suitable for all fitness levels, as the instructor provides alternatives for the exercises. Adapted classes are especially suitable for beginners and those with reduced functional mobility. People using walking aids (cane, walker) can also participate.
No registration is required for the groups. Participation requires a valid senior wristband validation card. Please inform the instructor before the class starts if you have any mobility limitations.

- The gym on the entrance floor (Jukola) is always open to the public. The gym on the 3rd floor (Männistö) is available during public sessions. You can check public session times in the booking calendar or by asking the customer service at the centre.

- Senior independent training sessions in the reservation gym on Mondays 1PM–2:30PM, Thursdays 11AM–12:15PM, and Fridays 9:30AM–11AM from September 1 to December 19.
- Petrelius Swimming Hall
- Guided gym sessions for seniors on Wednesdays 3PM–4PM from September 17 to December 10 (not on October 15). Instruktören talar också svenska.
- Aunela Ball Game Hall Gym
- Available only during senior sessions on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 9:30AM–11:30AM. The autumn season starts Monday, August 11.

- New gym (Seuravuorenkatu 2). Open 6AM–10PM. Entrance through the store doors from 8AM–10PM and through the back door from 6AM–8AM. One shower stall available.

- Senior wristband holders can train when customer service is open.
- Guided gym session for seniors on Thursdays 10:30AM–12PM from September 18 to December 11 (not October 16).
- Varissuo Ice Hall Gym
- Guided gym session for seniors on Mondays 10AM–11AM from September 15 to December 8 (not October 13).

- Kupittaa Skating Rink : Skates and roller skates can be borrowed free of charge from the skate rental.
- Impivaara Ski Rental : Ski equipment can be borrowed free of charge from the ski rental during the winter season.

Starter courses help adults aged 65 and over get started with exercise, especially those who are new to physical activity and need guidance in strength and balance training.
These six-week courses include one guided gym session per week with a professional instructor. If your functional capacity is reduced or you use walking aids (such as a cane or walker), the adapted starter course is designed for you. To participate, you need a valid senior wristband.
The late-2025 courses have begun. The spring 2026 courses will be published at the beginning of January
