At Kupittaa Sports Hall, you can exercise in a variety of ways! With the entrance fee, you can use both the downstairs gyms and upstairs facilities.
Track and Field facilities upstairs
- Running track: 170 m, 4 lanes, plus 100 m running track
- Long jump, high jump, pole vault and shot put facilities
- Rowing equipment
- Grandstand: 1000 seats
Facilities downstairs
- 2 gyms, one of which is a bookable gym, i.e. it is booked from time to time
- Changing rooms with showers are located downstairs
- The plunge pool in the saunas is available for men on Mon, Wed, Fri and Sun and for women on Tue, Thu and Sat. On Wednesdays from 9 am to 12 am, both saunas are reserved for Aarnen Talli from the beginning of September until mid-May
- Downstairs, there are lockers with a 50 cent coin slot. In the other areas, please keep a close eye on your belongings
Bowling alley and shooting range
- Kupittaa Sports Hall also has a bowling alley and the shooting range of Turun Seudun Ampujat ry.
Follow all current rules, staff instructions, cleanliness standards, and good manners. In this way, we aim to ensure that everyone can train safely and without disturbances.
- Check in at the access reader before the training session begins (group leader/athlete).
- Persons under 15 years of age may enter the strength training facilities only together with a group leader. The upstairs strength training area is reserved for the main user groups.
- Train only in designated areas. The pole vault, high jump, and long jump areas are reserved for training in those respective disciplines.
- Always run counterclockwise on the track. Warm-ups must be done in a line along the outer edge on one lane. Lanes 2–3 are intended for faster running, lane 4 for longer runs.
- Technique training that requires equipment must be carried out behind the stands, not on the sprint straight.
- Return all equipment you have used to its proper place (e.g. platforms, hurdles, mats).
- Always be considerate of other trainees. Do not run across the lanes or rush onto the field.
- You train at your own risk. The coach is responsible for their own group or athlete.
- The hall’s main user groups are athletics, rowing and canoeing, orienteering, rhythmic gymnastics, and triathlon clubs.
- Children under 13 train until 19.00, and adults after 19.00. Training for children under 13 is prohibited after 19.00.
- Supplementary training for clubs other than the main user groups is possible at the following times: children Tue and Fri 14.00–19.00; adults and those over 15 Tue and Fri 18.00–21.00.
- It is recommended to check the hall’s booking status in the Timmi reservation calendar.
- There is camera surveillance in the pool area. Always wear swimwear in the pool area.
- Please leave the sauna facilities by 20.00.
