The City of Turku Urban Environment Services is responsible for the Seikkailupuisto area and play equipment.

Seikkailupuisto

Seikkailupuisto features plenty of swings, climbing frames and other play equipment. The area is always open and free of charge. In the summer, a stream flows through the playground every day from 8:00 to 20:00. The new water play feature was completed in August 2024.

In Seikkailupuisto, you can also find the Children’s Cultural Centre Färi, which organises art and cultural activities for children and families.

Pets are not allowed in the area. However, this does not apply to guide dogs. For safety reasons, cycling and scooting are not allowed in the Seikkailupuisto area. Smoking and alcohol consumption are also prohibited.

Seikkailupuisto is currently partially fenced off due to the renovation of the green building. The gate at the beginning of Kupittaankatu is closed. You can enter the area via the playground gate on Kupittaankatu, Kupittaa Park’s main gate, and from the direction of Kupittaa Sports Hall.
