Turku Urban Research Programme has a opened a call for research project proposals again

The call is open until 9 October at 14.00.

Turku Urban Research Programme funds academic research that expected to generate information relevant to urban development in Turku. You can find more information about the focus areas of the programme in the Turku Urban Research Programme 2026-2029.

The call is targeted to research groups that include scholars from the University of Turku and/or Åbo Akademi University. In addition, consortia that feature researchers from other universities, research institutes or universities of applied sciences in Finland or abroad are eligible to submit their applications. The project management must, however, be based at the University of Turku or Åbo Akademi University, and their share of the project budget to be funded must be at least 50%.
