The scale-up project has developed a mobility view as part of the Turku service map.
The Turku service map allows the user to search for services provided by the city and now also by others using various search criteria. The address can be used, for example, to search for nearby services. Special attention has been paid to the accessibility of information on the service map, and accessibility information is also available for many City offices. The map is being developed together with the City of Helsinki.
The mobility view brings together traffic and mobility data from several different data sources in three different languages. The mobility view includes Turku counting points for pedestrians, cyclists and cars, bicycle parking spaces, regional cycling routes, walking routes, charging and refuelling points for electric and gas cars, and the supply of mobility service providers. Much information is also available on the map in real time, such as street maintenance work, parking spaces along the streets in the city centre and the availability of shared use vehicles.
The mobility view code is open
The content production of the service map and mobility view is done openly; the principle is to make the information visible to everyone. Open data benefits everyone and supports the development of knowledge-based services. Service design is used as one part of development to bring user-orientation and functionality. An example of this is Tanja Ylänen's thesis on instructing exceptional situations. Guiding people in exceptional traffic situations : service design for the digital mobility map of the City of Turku - Theseus
The mobility view code can be viewed on Turku Github.

Developing map services
The mobility view was published in April 2022 and is being actively developed in the project. Next, the user interface of the view will be improved, more data sources will be imported, and the functionalities of the embedding tool will be developed. Development suggestions and feedback on the map can be given in the Give feedback section on the service map.
