What is Turku Employment Region?

Turku Employment Region is the region's employment authority, and it consists of 23 municipalities in Southwest Finland. Turku is the managing municipality of the Employment Region, and offers the centralised services and tasks that are the same for all municipalities in the region.

Jukka Varonen is the director of Turku Employment Region.

Local services are provided in the following municipalities:

  2. Laitila
  3. Lieto
  4. Loimaa (also serves Auraa, Oripäätä, and Pöytyää)
  5. Paimio (also serves Sauvoa)
  6. Parainen also serves Kemiönsaarta)
  7. Raisio  (also serves Naantalia, Maskua, Mynämäkeä, Nousiaisia, and Ruskoa)
  8. Turku (managing municipality)
  9. Uusikaupunki (also serves Kustavi, Pyhäranta, Taivassalo, and Vehmaa)
