Arrival
The swimming hall is located in the Petrelius area, about 3 kilometres west of the city centre.
There is a bus stop near the swimming hall and time-limited parking spaces behind the swimming hall. There are bicycle racks and frame-locking racks in front of the swimming hall.
There are no accessible parking spaces.
Pools and facilities
- Four-lane 25-metre pool.
- The water depth is 100–220 cm and the temperature is approximately 27 degrees.
- Guided water exercise classes and gym guidance.
- Hydrohex – a water exercise screen for independent training.
- Women’s and men’s changing and washing facilities and saunas on both sides. Lockers work with a 50-cent coin deposit or a token costing 1 euro. The gym has a few valuables lockers that work with a 2-euro coin.
- There is a coffee and snack vending machine in the lobby.
- Petrelius has a versatile gym. The gym can be used during the swimming hall’s opening hours by entering through the ticket office, in which case the pool, shower and changing facilities are also available. If the swimming hall is closed, access to the gym is through the gym’s external door using a preloaded wristband or QR code. In this case, the swimming hall’s pool, shower and changing facilities are not available.
Women’s and men’s sessions
During women’s and men’s sessions, only customers of the specified gender may enter. The staff are also of the same gender. During these sessions, access to the gym is only from outside.

Water play sessions
In autumn 2026, lane space is reserved for children’s water play on Saturdays from 13.00 to 14.00.
