Service description
In TUVA, preparatory education for upper secondary qualification, you gain the basic knowledge and skills that help you move on to further education or working life.
The so-called TUVA for young people is intended for young people who are unsure what to study or do after completing basic education. In TUVA for young people, you can improve your comprehensive school grades and strengthen your study skills, such as your Finnish language skills.
TUVA for adult immigrants is intended, as the name suggests, for people with an immigrant background who need to strengthen their Finnish language skills and other study skills. In TUVA for adults, you also receive guidance towards vocational education or working life.
Who is the service intended for?
Applications are submitted electronically using a form. The application process includes a selection interview and, if necessary, a Finnish language test. Student selection is based on the test and the interviews. All applicants will be informed of the selection results.
