Apprenticeship training

Apprenticeship training is a practical way to study for a profession. Apprenticeship training can be either qualification-oriented education or further vocational training.

Workplace learning plays a central role in apprenticeship training, and most of the training, approximately 80%, takes place at the workplace through practical work. The training is complemented by theoretical studies, which are arranged by the apprenticeship office.

How do I apply for apprenticeship training?

An apprenticeship agreement is made between the employer, the apprenticeship student and the apprenticeship office.

You can ask about apprenticeship opportunities directly from the City Office or unit whose field includes the profession you want to train for.
