Playground exercise sessions 2026
The playground exercise season begins on 27 April 2026.
Playground exercise sessions are ideal for parents with young children and anyone interested in outdoor exercise. You can come and exercise with or without your children. If you have recently given birth, please only take part in the exercise sessions after your final check-up with your doctor and once you have recovered sufficiently from the birth.
We organise guided exercise sessions from May to September at playgrounds across Turku. There are no exercise sessions on public holidays.
You don’t need to register for the sessions! They are free of charge and equipment is provided on site.
- The sessions last approximately 45 minutes.
- We start the sessions with a warm-up, followed by a circuit training session to build muscle strength.
- During the sessions, we make use of the playground equipment and resistance bands.
