The purpose of the plan is to enable the development of the airport and the related industrial and occupational areas and to ensure the preservation of the natural values of Pomponrahka.

    • The City Board approved the draft plan on 28 April 2008 § 259 and made it publicly available. The plan was available from 19 May to 17 June 2008.
    • On 21 June 2010 § 394, the City Board approved the proposed measures resulting from the statements and opinions as a basis for the partial city plan proposal.
