Small sculptures made by children are hidden along the riverside. Can you find the statues in their hiding places? This cultural exercise route is fun for the whole family!
Piiloleikki by Oona Tikkaoja (b. 1976) consists of thirty miniature bronze sculptures lurking on the western side of the Aura River.
The sculptures are made by children aged 5-10 years and are themed as self-portraits.
The sculptures are placed in the area between Martinsilta Bridge and Turku Castle Park in locations chosen by the children themselves. The route is 2 km long. The most exciting part is the search for the miniature sculptures without instructions!
Piiloleikki is one of the city's many cultural exercise routes, combining culture and outdoor activities.
