Anyone with a municipality of residence in Finland has the right to access public social and health services. The municipality of residence is the municipality where the person has his/her official residence and where he/she lives permanently.
You can get support and help from social and health services, including:
- personal coping challenges
- life management problems or coping with everyday life
- difficult family situation
- you have problems with your money or your finances
- you are afraid, experience violence or the threat of violence
The social and health services in Turku are provided by the Welfare Region of Western Finland, known as Varha.
