Climate-themed Ilman surua concert at Sigyn Hall on Sat 25 April. Tickets with the Culture Card €15/€10 (normal price €20/€15).
Chamber Choir Key Ensemble’s concert’s title, Ilman surua (“Without Sorrow”), refers to the surprising ability of people – and decision-makers in particular – not to take sufficient action to prevent the coming climate catastrophe. We live without sorrow. At the same time, the title also refers to the real sorrow caused by advancing climate change and the changes it brings to natural environments and human living conditions. Each work in the concert examines climate change from a different perspective. The performance also includes two composer visits and video art.
