The Turku Philharmonic Orchestra will hold three open rehearsals for Culture Card holders during the spring of 2026. You must register in advance to attend the rehearsals. If the event is full, you can sign up for the waiting list.
With a Culture Card, you can listen to the Turku Philharmonic Orchestra's rehearsals free of charge. At the open rehearsals, you can watch the orchestra at work and get a glimpse into the everyday life of the orchestra members. The dates are Friday 16 January, Thursday 16 April and Thursday 7 May.
You must register in advance for dress rehearsals, as the number of visitors is limited.
The exact duration of the rehearsals varies depending on the evening's concert program and performers. During the rehearsal, the concert program is played through. Depending on the conductor and program, parts or sections may also be rehearsed, or parts of the program may be omitted or played more lightly.
Dress rehearsals are held at the Turku Concert Hall unless otherwise stated. The doors of the Concert Hall open at 10:00 a.m. (for rehearsals starting at 11:00 a.m.) or 9:00 a.m. (for rehearsals starting at 10:00 a.m.), with the doors to the hall opening just a few minutes before the rehearsal begins. The Concert Hall café is not open during rehearsals.
