Application periods and application form
The application period will be open from 15 December 2025 until 16:00 on 30 January 2026.
We aim to announce the selection results in early March.
The selections will be based on how well the proposed activity fits the space, the level of interest in the content, and the value it brings for Turku residents.

Explore the spaces
Eight different spaces are available.

We give the facilities to cultural operators free of charge for a fixed period of 1 to 6 months.
The facilities are available between 1 April and 31 December 2026, depending on the space.
The intermediate spaces for culture follow the UN principles and practices for safe spaces.

The Culture Promotion Department is responsible for the cultural intermediate spaces. This initiative is carried out in collaboration with the Aurajoki Foundation, Art House Turku, and the City of Turku’s Facility Services and Library Services.
