The Turku Employment Region began operations on 1 January 2025. Services will be offered in nine municipalities. Each municipality will be responsible for providing its own services, which is why the opening times for services may vary slightly.
Note! We strive to ensure that the provided information is up-to-date and reliable. However, the employment region reform is extensive, and especially around the turn of the year, changes may occur at short notice. Always check the latest information on the website of your own municipality.
If you are a customer, remember these!
- The transfer of your customer relationship to your home municipality does not require any action from your part.
- Your customer information will be transferred automatically.
- You do not need to restart your job search due to the transfer of your customer relationship.
- The transfer does not affect your unemployment benefit.
- The transfer does not affect the tasks or services that have already been agreed upon with you.
- Remember to keep your contact information up to date.
- The employment market portal, Job Market Finland, will remain a central online service through which you can register as a job seeker and manage matters related to your job search.
If you are an employer customer (a business), your customer relationship will not transfer automatically. Please contact your local employment authority by phone, email, or in person so that a new responsible officer can be assigned to your company. After that, you will be able to send electronic contact requests through the "My E-Services for Businesses and Employers" platform. The JobMarket Finland platform will remain a central online service for recruiting employees and posting job advertisements.
Where can I get service?
Your own municipality will guide you. If you own municipality does not provide employment services, they will direct you to the nearest service point.
