Basis for personal data processing

PURPOSE OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING:
The purpose of processing personal data is to promote the objectives of the BSR Urban Mobility and enable cooperation and communication with relevant stakeholders. The project supports Baltic Sea region cities and urban nodes in sustainable urban mobility and logistics planning. The project is co-funded by the Interreg Baltic Sea region programme. The project's success relies on partnership thinking, shared goals, and diverse expertise.

Project Lead and Partners:
The City of Turku/UBC s leads the project, with partners including Joint Spatial Planning Department Berlin-Brandenburg/Scandria Alliance; Tallinn University of Technology; City of Oslo; Transport Innovation Association/PA Transport; Lindholmen Science Park AB/CLOSER and University of Gdansk.

DATA RECIPIENTS:
Data is not disclosed to external parties. During the project, data is processed jointly by the members of the above listed project partners (up to 20 people). Data may be disclosed to the project funder as required by the funding decision (Subsidy contract for the project #P008 BSR Urban Mobility of Interreg Baltic Sea Region).

Principles of Registry Protection

DATA PROTECTION PRINCIPLES:
Data is protected from unauthorized access through automated data processing, Turku city's network login credentials, and user-specific access rights. Only individuals who need the data for their tasks have access.

Data retention period

DATA RETENTION PERIOD:
Data collected during the project is retained for the duration of the project. Afterward, the necessity of retention is evaluated by Turku's Development services. Unnecessary data is deleted, and other data is retained by the City of Turku (including data required by the funding decision Subsidy contract for the project #P008 BSR Urban Mobility of Interreg Baltic Sea Region). The registry is updated and evaluated annually.
