Turku tested two digital employment services from October 2025 to February 2026. In the pilots, more than 500 jobseekers used NeduAI’s AI-based Työprofiili+ service, while the Tavata online platform was piloted in Ohjaamo activities aimed at young people to support recruitment.

In the Työprofiili+ service, jobseekers were able to identify and describe their skills, tailor their CV with the help of AI, and receive information about suitable job opportunities. The service was voluntary and was already developed during the pilot based on customer feedback.

The Tavata platform was tested to support the organisation of recruitment events and, in particular, to reach young people at Ohjaamo. During the pilot, it became clear that there is a distinct need for permanent recruitment solutions that can be implemented as in-person, hybrid, and remote formats.

“The pilots give us the opportunity to test approaches in an agile and customer-oriented way,” says Anne Lautsamo, Director of Employment Services.

The Aim Is to Provide Digital Services for the Entire Employment Region

In autumn 2026, a market dialogue will be launched with service providers. The aim is to make a decision on a permanent digital service package that covers all customers in the Turku Employment Region. A clear advantage of employment services provided digitally compared with traditional alternatives is their scalability to changes in the employment situation and their lighter dependence on resources. Services can be offered to customers faster and in a more targeted way.

“We have piloted the services in a thoughtful and cost-effective manner. Next, we will assess the current market situation before moving towards permanent solutions,” says Tatu Virta, Lead Impact Specialist at the Turku Employment Region.
